Pathway: Setup > Operations > Vehicle Inspection Type
The Vehicle Inspection Type Setup facilitates the creation of driver-completed pre and post-trip inspections, which are important for determining the operational condition of a truck. Using this tool, users can create standardized inspection protocols for drivers to follow before and after each trip on their hand-held devices.
Permissions
The following permissions are required to use the Vehicle Inspection Type Setup screen:

Add Vehicle Inspection Type
- Select the green + icon to open the Add Vehicle Inspection Type tool.
- Enter a Name for the Vehicle Inspection Type and click Save.
Add/Edit Vehicle Inspection Items
Items added here will display in the vehicle inspection list for the driver to evaluate as either pass or fail. To generate a list of inspection items visible to the driver, use the toggle buttons to add or remove items.
