Customer / Material Report

The Customer / Material report provides an operational and financial view of disposal and recycling activity for a selected facility and date range. Results are grouped first by customer site and then by material, allowing users to review activity at both levels.
The report can be run in Summary mode to view totals and counts, or Detail mode to review individual tickets and transactions. Users can further narrow the results by site, material, customer type, disposal or recycle classification, and traffic direction. Reports are available in PDF and Excel formats.
Report Parameters
Parameters are the specific criteria required to run a report, ensuring the system pulls only the specific data you need for your analysis.

- Summary: Displays ticket and transaction counts, quantities, and financial totals grouped by material and site, along with report-wide totals.
- Detail: Includes the summary data plus individual ticket information such as ticket number, date, truck, traffic direction, charge code, quantities, weights, and financial amounts.

Filters the report to the selected site. If blank, all sites will be included.
Note: Selecting a site will drop all route disposals. |
| Material |
Filters the report to the selected material type. If blank, all material types will be included.
Note: Transactions with no material only appear when the material filter is blank |
| Intercompany / Third Party |
Filters the report to only return results for the selected company type. If blank, both company types are included. |
| Disposal / Recycle |
Filters the report to only return results for the selected waste type. If blank, both waste types are included. |
| Traffic Direction |
Filters the report to only return results for the selected traffic direction (Inbound or Outbound). If blank, both ticket types will be reported on. |
Run the Report
Follow these simple steps to run the report.
- Select the Facility the report applies to.
- Select the Report Type to generate.
- Select the Start Date and the End Date to pull data for
- Optional filters to apply:
- Site
- Intercompany / Third Party
- Disposal / Recycle
- Traffic Direction: Inbound or Outbound
- Select Run Report or Run as Excel.
- Run Report: results of the generated report will display in a new window tab.
- Run as Excel: results will be exported to Excel for the user to open and view.
- Create a Saved Template for faster use later.
- After all parameters are set, click on the Save As button at the top of the screen.
- Enter a Name for the template and click Save.
- The option to make the template available to other users is provided by checking the Public Access check box. Otherwise, if left unchecked, the report is only available to the user account it was created under.
Understand The Report
Below are sample reports for both the Summary Report and the Detailed Report followed by a detailed breakdown of the data in the report.

Header
The header of the report displays the company logo and selected parameter values. Page numbers are also located at the top of every page. For audit purposes, the top of each page also includes the name of the user who generated the report and a precise generation timestamp.
Report Body and Totals
The data in the report displays transaction details grouped by site and materials based on the selected parameters. Subtotals are provided at the Site level and Material level.

- The site number and site name are listed.
- Report results are grouped first by site.
Note: If a site is selected, route disposals will not be listed. When left blank, route disposals are listed under the Division with no Site number. |

Material type associated with the transaction.
- The material ID and material name are listed in alphanumeric order.
- Materials are grouped within each site.
- The total number of tickets and total number of Transactions are summarized next to the material.
Note: Transactions with no material only appear when the material filter is blank. |

| Volume |
Volume associated with the transaction (Detail) or group of transactions (Summary) displayed using the applicable unit of measure , such as cubic yards. |
| Weight |
Weight associated with the transaction (Detail) or group of transactions (Summary), displayed using the applicable unit of measure, such as tons. |
| Tickets |
Number of distinct tickets included in the site, material, or report total. |
| Transactions |
Number of transaction records included in the material, site totals, or report total. |
| Financial Amounts |
| Subtotal |
Amount charged before taxes, surcharges, franchise fees, and the final total. |
| Tax |
Tax amount applied to the transaction or group. |

Surcharge applied to the transaction or group. |
| Franchise Fees |
Applicable franchise fees included in the transaction or group total. |
| Total Amount |
Final amount including the subtotal, tax, surcharge, and franchise fees. |
| Details Report: Transactions |
| Ticket # |
Ticket or disposal record number associated with the transaction. Displayed in Detail mode. |
| Date |
Date associated with the disposal or recycling activity. Displayed in Detail mode. |
| Truck |
Truck used for the transaction. Displayed in Detail mode. |
| In / Out |
Indicates the direction of the transaction whether the activity was Inbound or Outbound. |
| Charge Code |
Charge code applied to the transaction, when applicable. |
| Bill Units |
Billable quantity and unit of measure for the transaction. |
