Database Query - Division Cost Entity

The Division Cost entity provides the ability to track, report and export division-level cost and target-rate data, with rows associating a division to a line of business (LOB), material type, service region, and effective date.
Initiating a Division Cost Query
To generate a Division Cost report using the Database Query tool, follow the steps outlined below. Reference the Database Query article for more details on how to use the tool for reporting.
- Go to the Database > Database Query screen.
- Click the New button in the top control bar. This will open the Select Main Entity popup.
- Select Division Cost.
- After the Display Fields for the Division Cost entity populate, select the check boxes for the fields you want to include in the report.
- If a specific order is required, select the fields in the order you want them to appear in the query.
- Click Run to execute the query. Results are generated in a new tab with the date and timestamp.
Columns Available for Display and Filtering
The following data can be pulled in when running a Division Cost report.

Name of the division associated with the cost and rate settings. |
| Effective Date |
Date on which the division's cost and rate settings become effective. |

Identifier for the line of business associated with the settings. |
| Lob Name |
Name of the line of business associated with the settings. |
| Service Region Id |
Identifier for the service region associated with the settings. |
| Service Region Name |
Name of the service region associated with the settings. |
| Cost and Markup Information |
| Cost Per Mile/km |
Cost charged or allocated per mile or kilometer. |
| Disposal Cost |
Disposal cost amount associated with the division's material and service settings. |
| Disposal Cost Uom |
Unit of measure used for the disposal cost, such as ton. |
| Disposal Cost Uom Id |
Identifier for the unit of measure used for the disposal cost. |
| Labor Cost Per Lift |
Labor cost assigned to each lift or service event. |
| Operating Cost Per Hour |
Operating cost assigned per hour. |
| Markup Factor |
Multiplier used to apply a markup to the applicable cost or rate. |

| Material Type Id |
Identifier for the material type associated with the cost and rate settings. |
| Material Type Name |
Name of the material type associated with the cost and rate settings. |
| Heavy Pounds Per Cubic Yard |
Configured weight in pounds per cubic yard for the heavy material category. |
| Heavy Target Rate Per Cubic Yard |
Target rate per cubic yard for the heavy material category. |
| Medium Pounds Per Cubic Yard |
Configured weight in pounds per cubic yard for the medium material category. |

Target rate per cubic yard for the medium material category. |
| Light Pounds Per Cubic Yard |
Configured weight in pounds per cubic yard for the light material category. |

Data Source
The Division Cost entity uses the cost and target pricing information configured on the Division > Cost / Target Pricing tab of the Setup > System > Division screen.
