There are situations where American Express and Discover credit cards are not accepted. The ability to remove these logos from all credit card processing screens in Navusoft has been provided at the Division level.
Two new settings have been added to the Credit Card / ACH Processing tab on the Setup > System > Division screen to support this:
- Allow American Express Credit Card
- Allow Discover Credit Card
For a new division, these settings will default to No. However, for already existing divisions, each configuration is set to Yes. To utilize this feature for existing divisions, you will need to manually update it to No.
When set to No, the system will remove the logo from all credit card payment screens. For example, if Allow Discover Credit Card is set to No, the Discover logo will not display as shown here:
This is a visual change only. These configurations do not limit the use of those credit cards. The goal is to reduce confusion by removing the logos for the credit card types not accepted.
