Previously, in NavuNav Android, it was reported that the Driving Directions feature did not always provide the most direct and efficient route for drivers to follow. With the upcoming release of the new NavuLink driver app (release date TBD), this issue has been resolved through updated routing logic applied across both Android and iOS versions of NavuLink.
Drivers will see the following updates in both Android and iOS:
- Both platforms were updated to prefer shortest route by default.
- Both platforms were updated to include ETA annotations to make comparisons easier.
The following changes were also made to Android and IOS devices specifically:
NavuLink Android
The following updates were made specifically to NavuLink Android:
- Addition of an alternate route selection option.
- Fixed an issue that caused route previews to round the Duration hours up.

NavuLink IOS
The following updates were made specifically to NavuLink
- Adjusted the display of the Route Summary pop-up window to not block any of the map buttons.
- Updated the Route Summary details to match Android with Distance and Duration.
