Inbound receiving now supports tracking and billing by volume in addition to weight. A new Volume field has been added to disposal records for Inbound / Receiving orders. To support this, the following logic is applied:
- The Volume field is only displayed when the Order/Event Type is Inbound / Receiving.
- For charge calculation, the material on the inbound ticket must match the charge code material type, and the charge code Rate UOM must be a volume-based unit of measure. When these conditions are met, the recorded volume is used to populate the gross quantity for the charge, applying the same calculation rules as existing weight-based logic.
